Email Agent — inbox specialist under One
Unified Email specialist under One for consented inbox search, nudges, and receipt review.
TL;DR: Email Agent is One's unified inbox specialist for consented Gmail search, nudges, conversational questions, and review of synced receipts. Gmail is a connection and purchase-memory surface within that specialist.
Status as of 2026-09-23: current repository source supports the unified Email specialist and receipt services; this page does not claim a separately deployed Gmail specialist or uninterrupted background behavior.
Relations
With the person's connected Gmail access and the required owner authority, Email Agent can answer inbox questions and help review receipt information. It sits under One as the conversational specialist. The Gmail connection and purchase-memory view use the same specialist for conversational reads.
Capabilities in the current source
- Inbox search and nudges: The Email service can search a connected inbox and derive nudge cards from available messages. A card reflects a bounded service result, not a guarantee of continuous local monitoring.
- Conversational review: The One interface supports inbox questions and a draft-review flow. Sending a message remains a separate explicit user action.
- Receipt questions: The unified Email specialist can query synced receipts and sync status through the receipt service. The receipt service and Kai view are distinct data and presentation surfaces, not a second Gmail agent.
- In-process delegation: One can route an authorized email task to the Email specialist. This source-level bridge alone does not prove a cross-deployment agent service.
